Welcome to the FunHouse.
We are Emily and Joel Skaggs. This site began as our family blog — ordinary days, milestones, and the unexpected gift of walking with our son Seth, who has Down Syndrome. From the start our hope has been simple: to praise God for Seth’s life, to tell the truth about both joy and hard days, and to point people to Jesus, who is our only lasting hope.
What you see here publicly is a curated set of posts: faith-filled witness from pregnancy, birth, and the years that followed, plus selected writing about Seth. The full FunHouse archive — siblings, videos, everyday snapshots — remains for family and invited friends behind sign-in at the archive site.
If you are walking a similar road, or cheering for someone who is: you are not alone. God is faithful. Seth’s life has already been used to draw hearts toward Christ, and we keep praying that continues.
